In 2015, Avid Insurance Brokers sprang to life in Lismore Northern NSW offering clients’ personalised advice around their general insurance needs. Our focus remains unchanged today, in that we provide insurance broking services by incorporating a modern twist within a conventional industry. Embracing our core beliefs that our business is first and foremost about people and we have the passion to be provide the best protection for our clients.

We joined PSC Connect in July 2017 which continues to provide Avid Insurance Brokers with exceptional buying power and enhanced policy wordings due to the size of the PSC group and being members of Steadfast.

2018 saw Avid Insurance Brokers relocate from The Strand Arcade in Lismore to Alstonville Plaza where we enjoyed operating the traditional way through a retail office. On the back of COVID-19, we spent the majority of 2020 working remotely from home on the Alstonville Plateau where we discovered that no matter where we work from, we still provide the same Avid experience to our clients! We fell in love with working remotely that we continue to operate this way from The Bunker”

2021 brought a lot of changes to most businesses and we’re no different. Our team continues to grow where we now have 4 people assisting our clients with their insurance needs. The latest development for Avid Insurance Brokers is the opening of a second office in Bundaberg Queensland which we are excited at the prospect of meeting and assisting more new clients who would like to join us on our journey.  

Avid Insurance Brokers provides general insurance services to clients predominantly within Northern NSW and North Queensland as well as interstate and overseas. As we are a service based business with a client centric focus, we also offer a mobile service where we can come to you at your convenience.
